This historic Lazurite specimen was personally collected by Leandro De Magistris in January 1939. The date of discovery was handwritten by De Magistris himself on the back of the label accompanying this piece.
Leandro De Magistris was a prominent figure in the Italian mineralogical scene, renowned both as an expert on the local territory and as one of the most important collectors of the 20th century. Over time, this specimen became part of the Renato Pagano collection, and now we are happy to present it to you.
