Crystals are very rare, generally the mineral is in compact masses; it has a medium temperature hydrothermal origin and is found in metal deposits along with nickel and cobalt minerals.The best pieces have been found in Morocco and this specimen is a great example, composed by Gersdorffite octahedral crystals with metallic luster and gray color. Here and there green Annabergite is present.
