Sculptural quartz cluster dramatically enhanced by fabulous light yellow (perhaps greenish ?) clay inclusions muddy looking; in evidence a prominent and rare double-terminated Quartz crystal, for an amazing final display. Diamantina is known for producing interesting inclusions in quartz crystals. Typically, these are of clay (white to brown muddy looking), chlorite (green), or brookite (brown). Many of the crystals, from here, sustain severe damage during their extraction, so many are polished and some defects, on collector’s specimens, are normally accepted.
